So about three weeks ago i carved my first halloween pumpkin and might I say I have pretty promising talent.  While Emmy sat and watched while eating an ice cream I carved away patiently and for a first effort he is quite the stunner.

.........so as i was explaining to Courtney, Mistie and Emmy all about my carving techniques they all completely shut down my new and IMAGINATIVE idea

         exact conversation 

Hannah: I wonder if I could carve a watermelon just like a pumpkin?

Courtney: Nooooooooo

Mistie: No way

Emmy: Definitely not 

Hannah: Yeah i could just scoop out all the red stuff and then carve it 

Courtney: Its impossible....its not like a pumpkin just cannot be done

(emmy and mistie nodding and adding silly comments about how silly of an idea watremelon carving is)

My Home Town

I have decided that winter in Canada is extremely cold!!!!  I am convinced that this part of the world should not be inhabited at winter times and those who live here willingly are crazyyy.  So as I am slowly going into seasonal depression and am currently hundreds of kilometers away from any real beach (no the shore of a lake does not count in my books and I do not care what wikipedia has to say about it) I have taken to googling my home town.

Basically the deal is that Emmy and Courtney now have blogs and now the competitive, unimaginative person that they think I am is surfacing so I have decided to make my own, much better blog.  Soooooooo I guess I will be posting things that I find funny or interesting as bloggers do......enjoy
